I want to share my greetings to those who honor the birth of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman and the significant progress the country has made under his leadership.

Today, we commemorate a birthday of this visionary leader who guided Oman to a future of peace, prosperity, and modernization. His legacy continues to inspire not only Omanis but also the global community. His efforts in fostering diplomacy, unity, and cultural heritage remain deeply cherished.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’s unique leadership left an indelible mark on Oman's development and international relations:

👑 Early Isolation: During his formative years, Sultan Qaboos was kept in near-total isolation by his father, Sultan Said bin Taimur. He had limited contact with family members and was rarely allowed to meet anyone outside the palace, which contributed to his solitary nature in later life.

👑 British Military Training: Before ascending to the throne, Qaboos attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK, where he trained alongside future British military leaders. This experience influenced his approach to modernizing Oman's military forces.
