🌿 A major HERS milestone!

60 stories of migrant women living in Greece, Italy and Cyprus have now been collected, documented and shared through the HERS website.

Behind each story is a journey of courage, trust, mentoring, cultural heritage and artistic expression. Together with their artistic mentors, these women transformed personal experiences, memories and traditions into meaningful creative works.

It has been an enriching journey, but not an easy one. ODYSSEA, INNOEUSPHERE and CEIPES are proud to celebrate this important achievement together.

Growing together. Reflection. Collaboration. Time for us. Honesty. Being upfront, especially where our day gets harder. 🌱

These are the things we had the chance to work on during a six-hour training workshop with the team at LIV Hospitality Group, who trusted our organisation to lead it.

Last Friday, our HRDA-certified lead trainer Christina Achilleos delivered a hands-on workshop built around exactly this: clarity, connection, and coordination, and the honesty it takes for a team to really work well together.

This is the work we love to design and lead. Development training that creates real space for a team to reflect, reconnect, and grow together. Thanks to for the trust ⭐️🙌🏻

Some rooms just stay with you. This was one of them.

Women from Iran, Iraq, Lithuania, the United States, Mexico, and Greece, sitting side by side, turning memory into art and art into story. There were collages, paintings, colour everywhere, and a lot of courage. Different countries, different journeys, different reasons for ending up in Cyprus, but the same quiet question running through all of it: what does my heritage actually mean to me now?

That, to us, is what intangible cultural heritage really is. Not something behind glass in a museum, but something living, carried across borders in the hands of the women who refuse to let it fade.

A huge thank you to Ira Irakleous (.iraaaaa), our artistic mentor, who held this group with so much care and helped each woman bring her story to the surface and onto the paper in her own most creative way.

And thank you to every single woman who trusted us with her story. We will not forget this one.

Σήμερα η ομάδα μας είχε τη χαρά να παρουσιάσει το έργο HERS, που χρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Δημιουργική Ευρώπη στον τομέα του πολιτισμού, σε εκπαιδευτικούς και μικρές ομάδες παιδιών σε δύο δημοτικά σχολεία της επαρχίας Λάρνακας.

Μέσα από τη δράση, μιλήσαμε για την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά, τη μετανάστευση και τις ιστορίες γυναικών που χτίζουν τη ζωή τους σε έναν νέο τόπο. Σε ένα σχολικό περιβάλλον όπου διαφορετικές γλώσσες, κουλτούρες και εμπειρίες συνυπάρχουν καθημερινά, το HERS συνδέεται ουσιαστικά με την εκπαίδευση, καλλιεργώντας την ενσυναίσθηση, τον σεβασμό και την κατανόηση μέσα από τη δύναμη της αφήγησης.

Γιατί οι ιστορίες μάς βοηθούν να βλέπουμε τον κόσμο, και ο ένας τον άλλον, με περισσότερη ανθρωπιά.

Today in Larnaka, InnoEUsphere participated in the .next SDG Lab, hosted in the framework of Larnaka 2030.

A meaningful exchange with cultural professionals, ECoC teams and cultural organisations from across Europe on how cities can approach monitoring, evaluation and cultural impact in more aligned and thoughtful ways.

Thank you to for the warm hospitality and to Culture Next for creating such a valuable space for dialogue.

It’s that time again.

We’ll start on 7 October with the Prelude, an informal evening to meet, reconnect, and ease into the days ahead. On 8 and 9 October, we continue with the main programme, where we’re taking things a step further this year, bringing together conversations around AI, funding, collaboration, community, and the way we work.

You can already get a first glimpse of the agenda on the website, and we’ll be sharing more of it in the coming weeks.
