Η Δρ. Άντζελα Κωνσταντίνου, HR Assistant Manager της Bioland Energy, μέλους του Ομίλου Eptagon, εκπροσώπησε την εταιρεία στη συζήτηση που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο ΚΕΒΕ στο πλαίσιο του έργου CareDivide, αναδεικνύοντας τον ρόλο των εργοδοτών στη στήριξη των εργαζομένων με ευθύνες άτυπης φροντίδας.
«Η συζήτηση στο ΚΕΒΕ για το έργο CareDivide ήταν ιδιαίτερα ουσιαστική, καθώς ανέδειξε μια πραγματικότητα που συχνά παραμένει «αόρατη», ότι πολλοί εργαζόμενοι καλούνται να συνδυάσουν την επαγγελματική τους ζωή με σημαντικές ευθύνες άτυπης φροντίδας», ανέφερε στον «Φ» η δρ Άντζελα Κωνσταντίνου βοηθός διευθύντρια Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού του ομίλου εταιρειών Bioland, μέλους του ομίλου Eptagon. «Εκπροσωπώντας την εταιρεία μου – πρόσθεσε – θεωρώ ότι οι εργοδότες μπορούν να διαδραματίσουν σημαντικό υποστηρικτικό ρόλο, μέσα από κατανόηση και, όπου είναι εφικτό, ευέλικτες ρυθμίσεις εργασίας. Ωστόσο η μακροχρόνια φροντίδα αποτελεί πρωτίστως ζήτημα κοινωνικής πολιτικής.

Bioland Energy Participates in CareDivide Discussion on Informal Caregiving
Dr. Angela Constantinou, HR Assistant Manager at Bioland Energy, a member of the Eptagon Group, represented the company at a discussion held at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) as part of the CareDivide project, highlighting the important role employers can play in supporting employees with informal caregiving responsibilities.
Speaking to Phileleftheros, Dr. Constantinou noted:
“The discussion held at the CCCI as part of the CareDivide project was particularly meaningful, as it highlighted a reality that often remains ‘invisible’: many employees are required to balance their professional lives with significant informal caregiving responsibilities.
Representing my company, I believe that employers can play an important supportive role by fostering understanding and, where feasible, offering flexible working arrangements. However, long-term care is primarily a matter of social policy.”
