Today is the International Day of Charity, and at PERHA, this is an important day for us as an organization committed to charity and making a difference.

Throughout the years, through projects such as our support for the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation, as well as our annual Weekend of Love and Giving, which will take place later this year, we have always believed that giving is about more than simply providing support.

Every time we walk along the Molos Promenade and pass the inspiring photographs from the “Yes I Can” campaign, we are reminded of why the work we do matters.

The campaign, by the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation Cyprus, in collaboration with the Cyprus National Paralympic Committee celebrates the determination, courage and achievements of Paralympic athletes who continue to challenge perceptions and inspire us all.

It makes us especially proud to see these photographs every day, not only because of the powerful message they share, but also because of our close connection to the Paralympic movement. Our Founder Marianna Hadjiandoniou proudly serves as the General Secretary of the Cyprus Paralympic Committee, making this cause deeply meaningful to us.

It is a reminder that organisations can and should go far beyond business. We can use our position to support our communities, promote inclusion and stand behind the incredible athletes who inspire us through their strength, dedication and achievements.

As an organisation dedicated to helping businesses create happier and more engaged workplaces, we believe that this journey must begin from within. Progress doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when people dare to challenge the status quo, open doors for others, and believe that leadership has no gender.

Last week, our Founder had the privilege of joining Annetta Benzar on the Future Makers: Women of Cyprus podcast for a conversation about leadership, inclusion, and the future of women in business.

With more than 20 years of experience in HR, she reflected on a journey of breaking glass ceilings, leading in environments that were predominantly male, and witnessing firsthand how diverse leadership creates stronger organisations and better workplaces.

One message stood out above all: the future of Cyprus’s business landscape will be stronger when more women have the opportunity, confidence, and support to build, lead, and innovate. Every woman who steps into leadership doesn’t just create opportunities for herself, she inspires the next generation to believe they belong there too.

The other two days were led by Elia Stefanidou | Stress Management Coach, Business Coach at MasterMinds, who delivered insightful sessions on stress management and building resilience in the workplace, equipping our team with practical tools to navigate challenges and achieve success in today’s professional environment.
