𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
As we recognise the contributions of women across our industry, the IMO World Maritime Day theme, “ 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲” is a powerful reminder that true progress lies in ex*****on.
At GenPro, this principle is more than a statement—it is embedded into how we operate.
From a GenPro standpoint, excellence is driven by:
▶️ Strong governance
▶️ Ethical accountability
▶️ And inclusive, people-centered practices
Our 𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟭 (𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁) and recently implemented 𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝟯𝟳𝟬𝟬𝟭 (𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀) reinforce this commitment.
They are not only standards of compliance—they are 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
✔️ Strengthening governance and controls to promote fairness, transparency, and ethical decision-making across all operations
✔️ Embedding accountability and ethical leadership at every level
✔️ Creating a culture where respect, equality, and integrity are non-negotiable
Because inclusion is not separate from excellence—it is fundamental to it.
As our own ESG journey reflects, fostering gender equality and an open, respectful workplace is essential to building a resilient maritime sector where talent can thrive.
On this International Day for Women in Maritime, we reaffirm our commitment to:
👉 Turning policies into measurable impact
👉 Empowering diverse talent across the maritime value chain
👉 Leading with integrity, transparency, and purpose
Because powering maritime excellence means 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘.
