🎉🎉🎉We are deligthed to share that our ReS-Food project has been awarded as good practice by the Serbian Erasmus+ National Agency.
Based on the evaluation, the results are extensive, high-quality and should make a measurable contribution to the fight against climate change, environmental sustainability 💚and improving the living standards of vulnerable social groups. Therefore, the Serbian National Agency decided to designate it as an example of good practice in terms of its contribution to the Erasmus+ priority "Combating Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability" and as an example of good practice in general.

A special thank you goes to all representatives of hotels, restaurants, cafes and charities, who joined in and made efforts towards reducing food waste quantities and helping those in need 🫶.

Prodigy - Erasmus+ Multiplier Event in Limassol

On October 24th, the PRODIGY Multiplier Event brought together experts and stakeholders at Shiambelos Restaurant in Limassol. This gathering was a significant step forward in enhancing emergency preparedness methodologies. The event showcased a comprehensive presentation of the PRODIGY project’s goals and accomplishments, with a particular emphasis on its training methods that utilize Virtual Reality (VR) exercises. Participants were introduced to innovative research and development initiatives aimed at improving the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in emergency training practices. After the informative session, attendees engaged in a lively discussion. The conversation was filled with technical insights and collaborative ideas focused on effectively disseminating and applying the outputs of the PRODIGY project in corporate settings. The event highlighted the importance of multi-disciplinary collaboration in driving innovation in emergency preparedness. Participants expressed a strong commitment to continue their involvement with the PRODIGY project, with the goal of enhancing the inclusion of disabled individuals in emergency preparedness training programs.

On the evening of October 23rd, key stakeholders and thought leaders gathered at the scenic Shiambelos Restaurant, known for its panoramic views of Limassol, to engage in a meaningful discussion about the ReS-Food project. This event was part of an ongoing initiative aimed at revolutionising sustainability in food systems and brought together local participants committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable development.

Digitability Multiplier Event in Cyprus

On October 22nd EUGENE was hosting the DIGITABILITY Multiplier Event at Shiambelos Restaurant, which boasts stunning views over the vibrant city of Limassol.

The gathering brought together 20 participants who engaged with the presentations on the achievements of the DIGITABILITY project. The discourse provided comprehensive insights into the project’s objectives, its significant outcomes, and the substantial impact it has had on our community and the partner countries.

Following the formal presentations, the event transitioned into a dynamic discussion phase, where participants expressed their interest in local initiatives aimed at enhancing digital capabilities. 🌟 ReS-Food in Novi Sad: Showcasing Innovative Digital Tools and Educational Games for Reducing Food Waste 🌟

The final Transnational Meeting took place at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. As the technical partner, EUGENE GLOBAL played a pivotal role in the web development of this impactful initiative aimed at reducing food waste and rescuing surplus food supplies.

Our team has been instrumental in creating innovative digital tools, including educational games, which are now part of the ReS-Food Educational Package. These tools have significantly contributed to the project's success and are available in multiple languages.

We are proud to have been part of this collaborative effort and look forward to continuing our work in promoting sustainability and innovations.
