Games for outside.

Cyprus is all about outside. Parties, games, all can be done outside. This customer wanted a whole series of outdoor games for birthday parties. The games range from Noughts and Crosses to Cheeseboard ( a game of skill).
All games are made of wood and treated properly for outside use.

Ten games were made in total. Noughts and Crosses, Tangram puzzle, Jenga (large), Limbo stick, Ring toss, Ball in Bucket, Nerf targets, Bean bag Toss, Ladder ball, and Cheese board.

Most games are made to be folded up for transport. The Noughts and Crosses and Tangram games are made on a 60cm by 60cm pine board with solid oak for the pieces. The pieces feel nice and solid in the hand when playing.

If you would like one of these games made for yourself, please contact us.

Another happy customer.
Part of the roof was nicely repaired, sealed, and painted, ready to face the weather for years to come.
It is hot and sweaty work, but so satisfying to see a job well done.

A Grand Old Lady

Once there was a beautiful teak deckchair in need of some loving tender care. She has withstood the test of time but is feeling a little worn out. A lot of the joints are weak and the whole frame is no longer stable.

The whole chair was disassembled, all the parts cleaned, sanded, and oiled. All the brass was polished and a new screw was made from fresh brass. The back of the headrest was weak and the main beams were splitting. From some old teak, we made a stiffening brace at the back. This made for a stronger back.

The result is a rejuvenated deckchair, ready to hold relaxed people in years to come. It was lovely to help this grand old lady back to fitness.

Just finished making a few more items.
Two egg cups and a smooth toothpick holder.
The combination of these two types of wood make a nice contrast, so the shapes had to remain simple to keep it from getting too busy.

New little project happening here.
The Swift Flyer.
Quick initial shape idea, certainly not final.
The overall idea is that this thing is steered by yoru feet and tilted by weight and feet.

Challenge for you all

This little fine piece of engineering is a better holder for the smoking spirals. It came into being simply because somebody asked me is I could make something better than those tin little holders that are supplied with the spirals. 1 hour later this thing was born.

So here is the challenge:
Give me a problem to solve and I will propose designs here.
We can then vote or discuss which one I will make. Of course the person who entered the problem will get one for free.
(if the overall cost is not too high!)

So, here we go, anybody out there with a little problem that I can fix for you?
