📌 Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Purchasing Manager to join our team in the construction materials sector. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement/purchasing process, identify cost-saving opportunities, build and maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure timely and accurate ordering and delivery of products. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on ex*****on to support the company’s operational and commercial objectives.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market research for new products and evaluate potential suppliers.
• Compare offers and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Place timely purchase orders and monitor the full order-to-delivery cycle.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and forecast procurement needs based on demand.
• Coordinate closely with customs authorities and shipping agents to ensure smooth imports.
• Ensure accurate and prompt processing of supplier invoices and payments.
• Work closely with internal departments to meet their procurement needs.
• Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and reports.
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills
• University degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within the construction materials industry.
• Hands-on experience with imports from abroad
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
🎯What We Offer
• Competitive gross monthly salary ranging from €1,700 to €2,700, based on experience and qualifications.
• 13th salary.
• 5-day working week (Monday–Friday).
• Working hours: 07:00 – 16:00.
