We’re pleased to share a significant milestone for Komvos Consulting.

Our team has been appointed to undertake a package of works on the Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) Project, one of the UK’s most important strategic road design schemes. The project is set to improve connectivity across the River Thames and reduce congestion at the Dartford Crossing, strengthening the resilience of the wider road network.

Securing a role on a scheme of this scale is no small achievement. It is a highly competitive environment, and we are genuinely proud to have been entrusted with this responsibility.

Our scope includes:

• The design of 60 bellmouth accesses to accommodate construction traffic safely and efficiently

• The design of motorway exit & entry slips to serve the site compounds and offices

• The design of road diversions to support traffic management during the construction phase

Our work centres on a robust engineering approach, incorporating geometric design, swept path analysis, visibility assessments, 3D modelling, and the preparation of detailed construction drawings.

This appointment reflects the confidence placed in our team to deliver practical, well-considered design solutions on complex infrastructure projects. We look forward to playing our part in the successful delivery of the Lower Thames Crossing.

We’re pleased to share that Komvos Consulting successfully delivered the design for the Roe Cross Diversion scheme.
Our design services included the re-alignment of the existing road, vertical profile design, sections, setting out, signage and road markings, swept path analysis, utilities clash detection, and detailed construction drawings.
The construction has now been completed, a major milestone for the project with the final outcome showcased in the photos and drive-through footage provided by the client.
We were particularly encouraged to receive the following feedback from National Highways:
“I wanted to recognise a job well done on the Roe Cross Road scheme. This was a major milestone, delivered cleanly and safely, and it has landed well with the client for all the right reasons. You also received positive feedback from TfGM and emergency service colleagues.”
It’s rewarding to see thoughtful design and planning supporting a safe, efficient, and successful delivery on the ground.

🔹 RRRAP Assessment of the Nearside Verge on the M1/A1, between Junctions 43 to 44, covering 8.5km in the UK. This critical project will enhance road safety and infrastructure, ensuring safer and more efficient travel.

🔹 Preliminary & Detailed Design of the Access Road for a private school in Pafos, Cyprus. We’re working on creating a safe, efficient access route to improve connectivity for students, staff, and visitors.

🔹 Traffic Impact Assessment for a private primary & secondary school in Limassol, Cyprus. Our team is dedicated to evaluating and designing traffic solutions that ensure smooth, safe access to the school for the entire community.

🔹 Traffic Impact Assessment for a commercial development in Larnaca. We’ll assess traffic flow and develop solutions that ensure seamless integration with the surrounding area for this exciting new development.

🔹 Radlett Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) in the UK Design & 3D Modelling of 12 ponds. We’re bringing our expertise to design and model essential infrastructure for the SRFI, helping improve sustainability and efficiency in the logistics sector.

Busy days ahead! We are extremely proud to announce that Komvos Consulting has recently been commissioned to provide Highways Design, Traffic Engineering & Transport Modelling consulting services for a number of projects in Cyprus & the UK.

- A47 / A11 Thickthorn Signalised Roundabout Modelling
As part of A47 / A11 Thickthorn improvement scheme, our team has been commissioned to develop a series of traffic models and flow scenarios, to assess the traffic impact of TTM plans during construction. Optimum MOVA signal operation combined with all required civil works will be proposed to minimise congestion.

- M3 J9 Crossover design
Komvos Consulting has been commissioned to undertake the design of six crossovers as part of M3 construction TTM plans.

- M25 & M20 J6 Merge & Diverge Assessments
Komvos Consulting has been commissioned to undertake CD122 Assessments for 20 sites, to determine the appropriate merge & diverge layout arrangements.

- Traffic impact Assessment – Orbit Valley
Komvos Consulting has been commissioned to develop the traffic impact assessment for the proposed residential development «Orbit Valley» in Limassol.
