The Department of Energy released its definition for zero Energy Buildings (ZEBs). The new definition states that a ZEB is “an energy efficient building, where, on a source energy basis, the actual annual delivered energy is less than or equal to the on-site renewable exported energy.”

We are delighted to announce that our capstone project of the COOPs Headquarters in Paralimni has just received two of the Green Public Procurement Awards from the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment. More specifically our project was awarded with the Green Public Procurement Policy prize for Lighting and the 3rd Prize for integrated Green Public Procurement Policy!

The awards were organized by the Department of Environment and the Cyprus Energy Agency, in cooperation with the Treasury of the Public Procurement Authority. This project is administered by the Cyprus Energy Agency and funded by the program "Intelligent Energy Europe" of the European Commission and aims to promote green public procurement for specific product categories related to energy.

We feel grateful for those amazing news and grateful to have worked with such great associates on this remarkable project.
