Argyrides Vineyards combine their respect for their roots with an appreciation of contemporary high standards, blending a love of wine with the intricacies of modern viticulture. Today, eight hectares are dedicated to six carefully chosen varietals, including the 45-year-old Mourvèdre and Maratheftiko vines. Today we celebrate the taste of summer – International Xynisteri Day

Some wines belong to a place before they ever belong to a bottle and Xynisteri is one of them.

It carries the light of Cyprus, the character of our villages, and the quiet beauty of vineyards that have been tended with love, season after season.

For us at Argyrides Winery, days like today are not only about celebrating a grape variety. They are about honouring the land that gives us so much, the people who continue to work it with care, and the long winemaking story of Cyprus that we are proud to be part of.

Today, we raise a glass to Xynisteri — and to the history, heritage and heart behind every Cypriot wine worth remembering.
