Day 2 of the Alaska Forum Conference kept the momentum rolling—packed rooms, thoughtful questions, and the kind of cross-sector conversations that make this week special. A massive thanks to the speakers and moderators who shared insight and practical takeaways across everything from Eklutna River restoration and water-powered “liquid energy,” to Indigenous-led convergence and the art of gathering, invasive species updates and hands-on monitoring tools, critical minerals and Alaska’s economy, recycling realities “beyond the bin,” coastal water levels and resilience planning tools, organizational climate mitigation goal-setting, and research showcases + new federal data tools supporting community planning.
