Did you know you could get help with your rent in Czechia? 🏠

Rent can take up a large part of your monthly budget, especially in cities like Prague or Brno. But if your income is low, you may be eligible for a housing allowance called příspěvek na bydlení.

The challenge is that many expats never apply simply because they don’t know the benefit exists or assume it’s only for Czech citizens.
Understanding what support you’re entitled to can make a real difference to your finances.

That’s why we created the FREE Relocation Pack.

Inside, you’ll learn how the Czech social system works, what benefits may be available to you, how healthcare and residence permits fit together, and how to avoid common mistakes when living in Czechia.

🎁 You’ll also receive a FREE 15 minute consultation with one of our immigration specialists. Whether you have questions about social benefits, visas, residence permits or your individual situation, you’ll get advice tailored to your needs.

👉 Download your FREE Relocation Pack today at www.lifeinczechia.com and discover benefits you might not even know you’re entitled to.

EU citizen or non EU national? 🌍

One of the first things every expat needs to figure out is how to join the Czech healthcare system. And the answer isn’t the same for everyone.

Your nationality, residence status and the reason you’re staying in Czechia can all affect how you access healthcare and what type of insurance you need.

Many newcomers assume the process is the same for everyone, only to discover they’ve chosen the wrong insurance or missed an important requirement.

That’s why we created the FREE Relocation Pack.

Inside, you’ll find practical guidance on healthcare, residence permits, work contracts, social benefits and many other topics that every expat should understand before or after moving to Czechia.

🎁 You’ll also receive a FREE 15 minute consultation with one of our immigration specialists. Whether you have questions about health insurance, visas, residence permits or your individual situation, we’re here to help.

Most people know about regular checkups. Fewer people know that some cancer screenings are recommended and covered as part of the Czech healthcare system.

Depending on your age and individual risk factors, you may be entitled to preventive screenings that can help detect serious illnesses early. Knowing what you’re eligible for is just as important as having health insurance in the first place.

The problem is that many expats don’t know what preventive care they can actually use, so they miss benefits they’re already paying for.

That’s exactly why we created the FREE Relocation Pack.
Inside, you’ll learn how the Czech healthcare system works, what your insurance covers, which benefits you may be entitled to, and how to navigate life in Czechia with confidence.

🎁 As a bonus, you’ll also get a FREE 15 minute consultation with one of our immigration specialists, where you can ask questions about healthcare, residence permits, work, visas, or any other immigration topic.

Czech Republic has introduced a new “super benefit” system that replaces four existing social benefits with one simplified application.🇨🇿

The aim is to make the system easier to navigate while assessing each household more comprehensively. Instead of applying for several different benefits, eligible households now submit a single application through the Jenda online portal or mobile app.

Here’s what you should know:
✅ Four benefits are now combined into one
✅ Support is calculated based on your household’s income, assets and employment status
✅ Some households will receive more support, while others may see lower payments under the new rules
✅ People with employment income may qualify for additional support through a work bonus
✅ Eligible foreign residents can also be affected, depending on their residence status and whether they meet the legal requirements

The government has also announced additional adjustments later this year, including changes to living minimum amounts and housing cost calculations.

If you think you might qualify for Czech social support, it’s worth checking the updated rules to see how the new system applies to your situation.

💬 Were you aware that some expats may also be eligible for Czech social benefits?
