Few words about…
Embossing technology

Embossing technology is a common method used in the textile industry to imprint various designs, patterns, or textures onto fabric materials or already laminated composites.

Depending on the way of application, the embossing process can be divided into two categories: plate embossing or roller embossing.

The plate embossing is widely used for small series production, sheets or cut parts.

The rolling embossing process is applicable for continues processing of rolled goods.

In both cases, this process involves the use of specialized rollers or plates with engraved or embossed patterns on their surfaces.
These rollers or plates, typically made of metal, are heated to a certain temperature to facilitate the embossing process.

From application point of view, the embossing process can be divided into next two categories: raw face material embossing or laminated complex embossing process.
In second case, the face material is pre-laminated (as example by flame lamination technology) with PUR foams or various types of distance wovens. It secures a deep, 3D effect of processed material.

Embossing technology has several advantages in automotive, textile, shoe and similar industries:

1. Added value: Embossing process is adding an additional value to the face material. Having just a few types of textiles material in various colors, you may create an infinite number of their versions, depending on market trends or customer’s demands. Their number depends only on your creativity.
2. Versatility: It can be used on a wide range of fabric types and already laminated complexes
3. Customization: Embossing tools can be engraved with custom designs, allowing for unique and branded fabric patterns.
4. Efficiency: The process (especially roller) is relatively fast and can be applied continuously, making it suitable for high-volume production.
