When we decided to try and evaluate an Arts for Health project, we knew that we were missing one thing: an artist on our team.
Research (1) has shown that standard evaluation frameworks applied to arts, health and well-being projects often fail to provide the necessary space to uncover the uniqueness and creativity within these projects.
This is why we reached out to Diana Buluga, who is not just a performing artist but also the creator of artistic interventions for healthcare professionals and patients, a researcher and trainer in art therapy, a community art magician and, as we found out, an amazing partner on our team.
As a side bonus, we also get some inspiration from her other projects with Create.Act.Enjoy 💙
