One of the things I’m most grateful for every year is how different all the weddings and couples I get to photograph are.
And I think this year really had it all - from adventurous days in rainy Iceland to relaxed seaside weddings and luxury palace & castle weddings, with different cultures, religions and nationalities along the way… you name it.

And after quite some time, I got to photograph a barn wedding again, this time at my favourite Sue Gaydos, where I returned after 7 years and once again absolutely loved working there!

Huge congrats to Marianna & Martin on their 1-month anniversary! 🤍🎉

A little 100% analog teaser from Habab & Mo’s beautifully intimate wedding at Casale del Gallo in Rome a few weeks ago.

A beautiful mix of Sudan, Tunisia, the UK, Austria, with guests coming from all over the world to celebrate together in Italy, surrounded by pizza, pasta, sunshine and beautiful Roman countryside.

An iconic venue, the coolest wedding band ever (shoutout to Loud Noises for absolutely bringing it. 🔥), and a crowd that came ready to have a good time - that’s much the perfect recipe for a legendary wedding night.

My poor Instagram activity might suggest I’ve retired from photography. But it’s been quite the opposite actually!

I’m right in the middle of my busiest wedding season ever, and combining all of the travels with dad duties and family life has been pretty damn hardcore. Luckily, I’m somehow managing to keep everything together so far… apparently, except for my socials. 😂

So here’s a little proof that I haven’t disappeared completely — a little sneak peek of what & where I’ve been shooting over the past few months: Sicily, Cologne, Iceland, Provence, Vienna, Croatia & Slovakia. A mix of digital & 35mm.

Laura & Charlie’s wedding was another one of my favourites from 2025, again in Búðir, Iceland and once again planned by the one and only 🇮🇸

This time, not in the famous Black Church, just a few meters away on the old pier in front of - with lots of guests, a proper wild party, and such a fresh and relaxed energy. The ceremony was so cool that even a wild seal came to have a look 🦭😀

I’m incredibly grateful for all the amazing couples I get to meet through my work, and for the variety of weddings I get to photograph!

Can’t wait for the new season to kick off in less than a week in Sicily!!!!

Another Iceland elopement and another reminder that this place attracts the most easygoing, open-hearted and fun-to-work-with couples.

Rosie & Kailan travelled all the way from Australia to Iceland at the beginning of their European elopement/honeymoon road trip.

Even though we met for the first time just a few hours before their wedding ceremony at the iconic Budir Black Church, we instantly clicked. The whole day felt more like hanging out with old friends - and that’s exactly how I love working, and when the most natural and authentic wedding photos happen.

A few moments from Sierra & Lindsey’s small, super relaxed wedding on Mykonos that quite literally started and ended with messing around in the pool.
🤍🌈

As it often happens, my favorite frame (the first one) came from pure coincidence. We were waiting for our planned photo spot to clear, completely taken over by tourists and an influencer shoot (because… Mykonos 😅).

The brides were standing in the shade while I was casually playing with my camera. Their silhouettes perfectly blocked the background chaos, the wind added movement, and suddenly the moment just clicked.

We kept shooting once the location was free, but as always – the photo made while waiting turned out to be the strongest.

And fun fact – this very image ended up in the final top three of this year’s in the Portrait category, and the third photo from the very end of the day won the After Dark category...
