🇸🇪 WISE partners met in Halmstad!

On 10–11 August 2026, the WISE project partners met at Halmstad University in Sweden for a two-day Transnational Project Meeting. 🤝

We discussed the progress of the Financial Intelligence Competence Framework, its validation and translation, and the next steps for developing the WISE learning modules, MOOC and WISE Academy. 💡💰

A special part of the meeting was the collaboration with international students from the WISER Summer School. Together, we developed ideas for educational games and interactive activities focused on financial literacy and decision-making. 🎲 We also visited the Halmstad University FabLab and explored its possibilities for interactive learning.

Next, we will continue developing the project’s learning materials and tools. The next international project meeting will take place in Warsaw in May 2027. 🌍

🤖📚 What competencies do teachers need in the age of Artificial Intelligence?

As part of the DUAL.AI.TEACHer project, we explored this question during our online stakeholder co-design workshops in June, bringing together voices from education, research, technology and public institutions.

Together, we discussed the emerging AI Competency Framework for Teachers - focusing on the knowledge, skills and attitudes educators need to use AI meaningfully, safely and ethically in teaching.

💬 The workshops provided valuable feedback, practical insights and concrete recommendations from different European educational contexts. One key message was clear: teachers are highly interested in AI, but they need clear guidance, practical examples, methodological support and space to exchange experiences.

The collected input will now help us further refine the framework so that it is relevant and useful for everyday teaching practice.

Another step forward for ! 🙌

On 25 June, EDIGIT partners met online for the 3rd Virtual Meeting to review progress and coordinate the next steps of the project. 🌍

The meeting focused on the final stage of developing the training modules 📚, including assessment and validation tools, translations, and supporting animated videos. 🚀

✔️ With the modules nearing completion, the next in-person project meeting will take place in Prague this September, continuing the work towards a more inclusive and accessible future for STEM education. 🌐

As the school year comes to an end, we wish all teachers and students a wonderful, relaxing, and well-deserved summer holiday. 🌻

What’s new in the WISE project? 🌍💡

We are currently finalising the Financial Intelligence Competence Framework, preparing the project website, and the first pilot meetings are already taking place.

This summer, we are looking forward to an international meeting in Sweden 🇸🇪 with the participation of university students. Together, we will work on games and interactive activities related to financial decision-making and financial literacy, making them as accessible and relevant as possible for the project’s target group.

The BRIDGE Masterclass took place in Vienna from 2–4 June 2026

The 3-day Masterclass, organised with ACCELERAS, prepared 15 adult education professionals from Austria, Czechia, Germany, Poland and Cyprus, who will deliver digital security education for women with a migration background in their respective countries. The Czech delegation included trainers and social workers from InBáze, Slovo 21 and Srdce Lidem. Many participants also had their own migration experience, bringing valuable perspectives to the training.

Through experiential learning based on the Kolb learning cycle, participants explored the BRIDGE online digital security course and tested hybrid learning approaches combining face-to-face workshops with online learning. At the end of the training, all participants received the BRIDGE trainer certificate and the Europass Mobility Certificate.
