Czech Republic to sell paper manufacturer in Slovenia http://wp.me/p60KKk-2u

Czech Prime Minister Sobotka announced yesterday, during his visit in Slovenia that the Czech Government is preparing a tender for sale of 100% of shares in Vipap Videm Krsko, a Slovenian manufacturer of paper. Czech Government acquired shares as part of Czech banks restructuring process, namely of Investicni and Postovni Banka (IPB) and subsequently CSOB who held shares of Vipap Videm as collateral.

About 86 film productions applied for Czech Republic film incentives, planning to shoot new movies here. Prague is highly attractive location not only for beautiful castles and historical sites but also thanks to skilled film professionals. Czech Government allocated about 500 mil. CZK (approx. $20 mil. ) plus hopefully additional 300 mil. CZK (approx. $ 12 mil. CZK) according to Czech Finance Minister, Andrej Babis.

Czech Vice - Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Andrej Babis will visit United States. Andrej Babis is one of the wealthiest Czechs, owner of agriculture and food giant, Agrofert Holding as well as owner of Czech dailies, MfD and Lidove noviny. During his visit, Babis will meet former mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, former secretary of state Madeleine Albright (of Czech origin), United Nations General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) Jason Furman and a number of Congressmen, according to Czech press.
