Like a piece that simply no longer fits into the picture 🧩 – 'cause we have set ambitious goals 🚀

We have long outgrown our name. We are no longer the spin-off we were when we were founded 12 years ago. Since then, we have established ourselves as a company and continue to show strong growth. Also, we have big plans for our future! Hence, our founding name is like a puzzle piece that simply no longer fits the picture. We need a new name.

A name that expresses what we are today and what we stand for. A name that supports our ambitions for the future.

Let's face it. Our name doesn't suit us anymore... 👋

We are proud of our history that began with the development an electric car called "StreetScooter". And yes, our founders were "researchers" at RWTH Aachen. Since then, we’ve grown and substantially evolved our offering.

As a result, we experience that our brand is not adequately communicating who we are and what we do. For instance, some external individuals assume we are related to e-scooters that are speeding around cities… So, change here we come!

"As a Knowledge Manager at StreetScooter Research I’m working close with our team to consolidate their project experience and results. This process helps to keep the quality of our work as high as possible.⁠
⁠
Back in 2018 I joined the young and dynamic team as a mechanical engineer and developed internal processes, tools and methods for practice sharing. My position included both project work and internal work in a hybrid way. In 2020, I became a mother and StreetScooter Research gave me the opportunity upon my return in 2021 to adapt my position to my new challenge of balancing work and family.⁠
This is for me a perfect example of the living culture at SSR with the of flexibility.⁠
⁠
