Most recently, Maximilian served as CFO and Managing Director at SCHUBERTH, where he successfully drove profitable growth and significantly enhanced operational performance. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at MAN Truck & Bus and McKinsey & Company.

Today we present to you more in-depth the project which won the third overall prize at the Kreative Köpfe Awards 2026 by Junge Kreative Köpfe! 🥉

Kubilay Serdaroglu (13) invented the project under the mentorship of ’s Thomas Lede. 🧴
This is a thermos flask with a display integrated into the lid, including a temperature sensor to measure and show the temperature of the drink in °C, with different emojis to be displayed depending on the temperature.
How does the innovation work? 🌡️
‘’We implemented this by installing a temperature sensor inside an immersion sleeve and connecting it to a microcontroller and an OLED display. The prototype was already very advanced and looked almost market-ready’’, highlights Thomas Lede.
