Many thanks to Nicolas for giving us the opportunity to realize this project.
It was an interesting and quite challenging project that took place this summer. We received a huge 24-inch Electro Voice Patrician woofer. The challenge was to convert the small ferrite magnet into a field coil magnet structure. A lot of reverse engineering was required to get all the dimensions of the new magnet structure right. It was also a challenge to put everything together as the delicate voice coil was already attached and the weight of the magnet assembly is around 5kg. But everything worked out well and the whole effort was a complete success.

I finally found time to replace the voice coil on two LM597 tweeter.A delicate repair since the coil is bonded directly to the diaphragm without former.Good preparation is essential to achieve a perfect result.
