🇭🇷 Turning regional organic residues into valuable resources. ♻️

With the new composting facility for Terral near Novska, Croatia, another UTV AG project is taking shape. The plant is designed to process up to 10,000 tonnes of green waste and poultry manure per year.

Combining these two material streams creates the basis for a stable composting process and a nutrient-rich end product. With controlled aeration, temperature and moisture management, as well as the GORE® Cover System, the composting process can be efficiently controlled while helping to reduce odour and emissions.

A strong example of how regional organic residues can be transformed into valuable resources and returned to the local cycle. 🌱

🇭🇷 Regionale organische Reststoffe werden zu wertvollen Ressourcen. ♻️

Mit der neuen Kompostierungsanlage für Terral bei Novska in Kroatien nimmt ein weiteres Projekt der UTV AG Gestalt an. Die Anlage ist für die Verarbeitung von bis zu 10.000 Tonnen Grünschnitt und Hühnermist pro Jahr ausgelegt.

Die Kombination dieser beiden Materialströme schafft die Grundlage für einen stabilen Kompostierungsprozess und ein nährstoffreiches Endprodukt. Durch eine gezielte Steuerung von Belüftung, Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit sowie den Einsatz des GORE® Cover Systems kann der Rotteprozess effizient kontrolliert und gleichzeitig die Entstehung von Gerüchen und Emissionen reduziert werden.

Ein starkes Beispiel dafür, wie regionale organische Reststoffe sinnvoll genutzt und als wertvolle Ressourcen in den regionalen Kreislauf zurückgeführt werden können. 🌱

🌱 Turning regional green waste into a valuable resource.

At the end of June 2026, the new GS-Gewerbe composting facility in Aschau am Inn, Germany, was successfully commissioned. Designed for the treatment of regional green waste, the facility can process up to 1,500 tonnes per year.

Using two composting windrows and the UTV system with the semipermeable GORE® Cover membrane, the composting process can be efficiently controlled and protected from external weather conditions. Targeted aeration ensures optimal conditions for microorganisms and supports a stable, reliable composting process.

The result: high-quality compost that can be reused as a soil improver – keeping valuable organic materials in the cycle. ♻️🌍

A great example of how compact, efficient solutions can create sustainable regional material cycles.

🌱 Regionalen Grünschnitt in einen wertvollen Rohstoff verwandeln.

Ende Juni 2026 wurde die neue Kompostierungsanlage von GS-Gewerbe in Aschau am Inn erfolgreich in Betrieb genommen. Die Anlage ist auf die Verarbeitung regionaler Grünabfälle ausgelegt und kann künftig bis zu 1.500 Tonnen Material pro Jahr behandeln.

Mit zwei Kompostmieten und dem UTV System mit der semipermeablen Membran des GORE® Covers wird der Rotteprozess gezielt gesteuert und gleichzeitig vor äußeren Witterungseinflüssen geschützt. Durch eine kontrollierte Belüftung entstehen optimale Bedingungen für die Mikroorganismen und einen zuverlässigen Kompostierungsprozess.

Das Ergebnis: hochwertiger Kompost, der als Bodenverbesserer weiterverwendet werden kann – und wertvolle organische Materialien bleiben im Kreislauf. ♻️🌍

Ein weiteres Beispiel dafür, wie auch kompakte Anlagen effiziente und nachhaltige regionale Stoffkreisläufe schaffen können.

🇬🇧 Successfully commissioned in Scotland! ♻️

In May 2026, a new UTV composting system was successfully installed and commissioned at Levenseat Resource Management in Forth, Scotland.

The facility is designed to treat different organic waste streams, including separately collected organic waste and organic fractions from residual waste, with a capacity of up to 30,000 tonnes per year.

The GORE® Cover System enables a controlled and efficient composting process while creating stable conditions within the composting windrows and helping to reduce odour emissions.

Four stationary PWV wrapping devices were also installed to ensure efficient and convenient handling of the membrane covers during daily operation.

Another successful project demonstrating how innovative technology and efficient processes contribute to sustainable resource management. 🌍♻️

🇩🇪 Erfolgreich in Betrieb genommen in Schottland! ♻️

Im Mai 2026 wurde bei Levenseat Resource Management in Forth, Schottland, ein neues UTV-Kompostiersystem erfolgreich installiert und in Betrieb genommen.

Die Anlage ist für die Behandlung unterschiedlicher organischer Stoffströme ausgelegt – darunter getrennt erfasste Bioabfälle sowie organische Bestandteile aus Restmüll. Die Kapazität beträgt bis zu 30.000 Tonnen pro Jahr.

Das GORE® Cover System ermöglicht einen kontrollierten und effizienten Kompostierungsprozess, schafft stabile Bedingungen innerhalb der Kompostmieten und trägt zur Reduzierung von Geruchsemissionen bei.

Zusätzlich wurden vier stationäre PWV-Wickelgeräte installiert, um die Handhabung der Membranabdeckungen im täglichen Betrieb effizient und komfortabel zu gestalten.

Ein weiteres erfolgreiches Projekt, das zeigt, wie innovative Technologie und effiziente Prozesse zu einem nachhaltigen Ressourcenmanagement beitragen. 🌍♻️
