Happy Earth Hour Day!

Today, you are called to action to peacefully yet visibly protest against climate change and for sustainable use of our ressources.

For one hour, millions of people around the world turn off their lights - to enlighten governments, economy and every single one of us.

In Germany, at 8.30 p.m., lights are collectively turned off for one hour to make a clear and visible statement - we expect actions to be taken. We expect politicians, governments, deciders and global players to act according to their responsibilities and to think forward. We demand to be seen and heard.

We will be practicing Earth Hour at our Office in the Hiz. We realise that this one hour alone does not change the course of climate change, so we are committed to being sustainable everyday.

Happy First Day of Spring!

It's official! Springtime is here.
In earlier times, the First Day of Spring or spring equinox was considered the beginning of a new cycle of sowing and harvesting, and to this day, the First Day of Spring is being celebrated with a variety of traditions around the world. They all signify rebirth, awakening and a brand new start.

That is what we want to remind us of on this day - the belief that whatever hardships the pandemic has confronted us with will pass. The hope for a new beginning after challenging times, the auspice to settle in .

Today's celebration has been associated with the return light and warmth, with sprouting abundance and the cycle of renewal for generations.

During the pandemic, many employers realized that working remotely is not necessarily linked to lower output. As a result, we see an increasing demand for solutions that allow employees to work from home or a mobile office.

Many employers want to give their staff the new-found freedom to provide a better and shape a more that partly works from abroad.

In addition, there are many freelancers, who enjoy working as .

Does this mean that remote work is THE model for the future?

We are not quite sure. It’s indeed a very pure form of balancing work and life. But there are obstacles.

We observed that there is very limited experience on how to set-up remote work internationally and compliantly. It’s crucial for both, employer and employee, to pay attention to social security, tax, and immigration law.

Otherwise, a good idea may lead to a bad outcome.
