Printing Facemasks!

Wir drucken im Moment auf unseren 3D-Druckern Teile für Gesichtsmasken, die in der Covid-19 Krise zurzeit dringend benötigt werden... Publication Launch: | European Parliament - Brussels | Belgium

We are honored that our project in Nettelbeckplatz (Berlin, DE) will be part of the publication »50 Out-of-the-Box Housing Solutions to Homelessness and Housing Exclusion«, which reports on 50 innovative and daring examples of housing solutions for the locked out in the EU.
The Housing Solutions Platform, a joint venture of Housing Europe, FEANTSA and the Fondation Abbé Pierre, will launch its compendium on December 11th in the European Parliament hosted by Ms. Katrin Langensiepen MEP and the Green/EFA group:

15 years of Collaboration! Projects revisited #3 | Austria

The third part of our anniversary series! This time we took a little trip to the 21st district of Vienna to see how things developed in “Franklin Karree”, a project with 117 apartments finished in 2016... Enjoy the recent pics from late summer this year!

15 years of Collaboration! Projects revisited #2 | Austria

Time for part two of our little journey through time! We caught a sunny day and went to see one of our smaller, but nevertheless passionate projects in Vienna from 2013-2015.
The house with 14 apartments on the corner of Bureschgasse/Wimpffengasse in the 22nd district of Vienna focused on the question of how to respond to a very mixed development situation in the area with modern architectural solutions.

Otto Höller and Oliver Scheifinger started working together 15 years ago and founded tafkaoo (the architects formerly known as otto and oliver) in 2007.
A great occasion to do what everyone should do from time to time: Revisiting your own projects and see how they developed over the years!

tafkaoo's first project in Finland has broken ground in Porvoo!
The project is exceptionally challenging both urbanistically and technically. Together with the authorities, client and contractor we worked hard to enable a successful result on the narrow site in the culturally and historically significant old Porvoo neighborhood.

Inspiring visitors at tafkaoo.helsinki office!

A group of students and assistants from Vienna University of Technology, Institute of Transportation, Civil Engineering Department is currently exploring the challenges of public transportation, the ongoing projects for urban expansion and the future plans of city development for housing, transport and business districts in Helsinki.
tafkaoo was happy to host a presentation on contemporary Finnish housing as well as a housing themed walk around the Jätkäsaari development area of the city.
