ENDLESS SHELF for Porro S.p.A. by , 1994
Designed in Berlin in 1994 and later produced by Italian furniture brand Porro, the Endless Shelf is built around a radically simple idea: one board and a series of die-cast aluminium joints that allow the structure to grow in virtually any direction.
The system received the Red Dot Award, a Compasso d’Oro selection and the German Federal Product Design Award, and entered the collection of Die Neue Sammlung in Munich. Three decades later, Porro brought the Endless Shelf back into production in 2025.
