Over the past 6 months, we delivered 12 GSE units to customers across multiple countries.

Satellites Transport containers. Lifting devices. Integration and rotation stands. Flanges.

We do not talk about this business area as much as we probably should. But our customers do.

Their satisfaction has become our best marketing: they recommend our capabilities, share our contact, and bring us new contracts through trust and proven performance.

Even better, the equipment we design and build is not used once and forgotten. Customers order it for one mission and then reuse it across entire constellations or following missions.

Designed to last for years. Built robustly enough to keep performing for much longer.

Our GSEs are a testament to robustness, reliability, and reuse.

ESA - European Space Agency mission Ariel, Atmospheric Remote-sensing Infrared Exoplanet Large-survey, will inspect the atmospheres of a thousand planets in our galaxy orbiting stars other than the Sun. Ariel will reveal the ingredients of their atmospheres and the presence of clouds, and monitor how weather conditions change over time. From rocky to gas-giant exoplanets, Ariel will deepen our understanding of these distant worlds.

Major milestone achieved for one of the first spacecraft models embarking our thermal hardware!

A big milestone for ESA's Ariel mission! 🎉🪐 The payload structural model has completed mechanical tests at the National Satellite Test Facility: a crucial step towards a mission that will study the atmospheres of around 1000 distant worlds. Huge congratulations to teams across the Ariel Space ...

Once in orbit, the CO2M satellites will measure carbon dioxide and methane at high resolution, helping to distinguish between natural and human-induced emissions, a major step forward for climate monitoring.

We are proud saying that our thermal hardware is on the satellite's parts being assembled in Thales Alenia Space!

Progress for Copernicus CO2M 🛰️ At Thales Alenia Space in Cannes, the Proto-Flight Model spectrometer has successfully passed a key vacuum test, confirming the precise alignment required for its measurements. In parallel, work on Flight Model 2 is progressing, with its critical optical elements...

This week we provide an overview we provide some latest updates about projects we are directly involved in, with the delivery of our thermal hardware:

- first to go: our hardware is installed on yet another 8 satellites of the Eaglet II constellation of the IRIDE Spazio programme, with mutispectral high resolution sensor, built by OHB Italia S.p.A. with sub. Optec SpA

Contratulations, IRIDE Spazio! Eight satellites have been added to Italy’s IRIDE Earth observation programme, following launch on board a Falcon-9 rocket. This launch doubles the dimension of the EAGLET-2 constellation, adding eight satellites to the eight already launched last November, which achi...

From development projects to Moon colonization.
Excited to join a workshop focused on turning the vision of a permanent human presence on the Moon into reality - and to showcase the ideas and concepts we’ve been building toward exactly that.
Thanks to Tomas Hamann for the great organization and to OHB SE for hosting.
Attending as well? Connect directly with Luca Celotti or Marko Piskacev to set up a meeting - let’s talk.

It’s a busy time at Azimut Space 🚀
Our assembly and outgoing areas are currently filling up, with several systems moving through their final stages before delivery.
At the front of the queue: a satellite transport container for spacecraft up to 170 kg, ready to ship.
Right behind it, a satellite rotation stand for payloads up to 300 kg, currently being finalized.
Always a good sign when the workshop is full and hardware is getting ready to head to customers and launch campaigns.
More hardware on the way soon.

You might have seen the news and pictures already multiple times, but what you don't know is that together with those satellites are additional 8 pieces of thermal hardware (our thermal straps) reaching space and TRL 9!

kudos to all the team at Azimut Space GmbH!

On 28th November, the Italian Programme achieved a major milestone with the successful expansion of its second , , through the deployment into orbit of eight satellites designed, built and integrated by OHB Italia S.p.A. Launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg...
