Looking to build connections with financial institutions shaping the future of green investment in Southeast Asia?
From 14–18 September 2026, RENAC is bringing a high-level Green Banking Delegation from Vietnam and Indonesia to Germany — creating a unique opportunity for German companies, project developers, financial institutions and service providers to meet directly with senior representatives from the region’s financial sector.
As part of the delegation programme, we are hosting two networking events:
📍 Frankfurt | 15 September 2026
📍 Berlin | 18 September 2026

🤝 Why join?
Connect directly with decision-makers from banks and financial institutions in Vietnam and Indonesia and exchange perspectives on:
🔹 Renewable energy & energy-efficiency finance
🔹 Green finance and investment frameworks
🔹 Hydrogen & decarbonisation
🔹 Energy storage, flexibility & grid integration
🔹 ESG/E&S requirements, risk assessment & bankability
The events are designed as interactive networking and dialogue sessions — offering an opportunity to introduce your organisation, share your experience and explore potential partnerships in Vietnam, Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian region.
🚀 An opportunity to open doors to Southeast Asia
Whether you are a project developer, technology provider, financial institution, consultant, insurer or other organisation active in the energy transition, this is a chance to put your expertise directly in front of relevant financial-sector representatives from the region.
Interested in joining one of the networking events?
We are currently inviting a limited number of organisations to participate and, where relevant, give a short presentation followed by Q&A and informal networking.
👉 Get in touch with us and briefly tell us who you are, your focus area, and what kind of partners you are looking to connect with in Southeast Asia.

🌞 Summer School 2026 has concluded with a visit to Solar Park Rathenow, operated by SUNfarming GmbH.
On the last day of our summer course, students got to see renewable energy in action at one of Germany’s leading agri-PV sites.
Why SUNfarming?
SUNfarming is a pioneer in agricultural photovoltaics and onshore wind repowering in Europe. With around 700 MW of solar PV projects delivered across the continent, they combine clean energy generation with sustainable land use. Their fully integrated approach covers everything from project development to operation and asset management over the full lifecycle.
It was inspiring to see how dual land use, biodiversity and reliable renewable power can go hand in hand.
Thank you to everyone who made Summer School 2026 possible—and to all the students for your curiosity and energy. See you next year! ⚡🌱

Week 2 of the Green Energy Summer School is underway—and it’s all about PV project development and economics. 🌞
The participants had the chance to put into practice what they are learning in class through hands-on PV exercises at the RENAC training center and on the PV rooftop.
Commissioning, inspection, and measurement of PV systems were among the topics covered during the day, with practical exercises provided throughout to reinforce what they learned.

Did you know that Feldheim is widely recognised as Germany’s first energy self-sufficient village?
Green Energy Summer School participants recently visited the New Energy Forum Feldheim to see the energy transition in action. During a guided tour, they explored how renewable energy technologies are integrated into everyday life in the village.
The field trip included visits to:
-Wind turbines
-A solar PV farm
-A biogas plant
At RENAC’s Green Energy Summer School, learning extends beyond the classroom. Through practical exercises, laboratory sessions, and site visits, participants can connect technical knowledge with real-world renewable energy applications.
This week, the programme turns its focus to PV projects. Stay tuned for more insights and highlights from the Summer School!

It’s time to explore hydrogen— a rapidly evolving field with applications across industry, transport, and power systems.
During the Hydrogen Lab, Green Energy Summer School participants gained hands-on experience using educational equipment to better understand the fundamentals of green hydrogen production and use.
They explored:
• Hydrogen and oxygen production with a small-scale electrolyser
• Electrolyser efficiency under different load conditions
• Power generation efficiency with a hydrogen fuel cell
By testing these technologies directly, participants could connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the hydrogen value chain.

From the classroom to the rooftops!
This week, RENAC had the pleasure of introducing a group of young people from the Ukrainian city of Rivne to the power of solar PV. ☀️ After covering the fundamentals of how a solar system works, we went on a tour of our rooftop installations to see the technology in action.
It was inspiring to witness so much curiosity and enthusiasm firsthand. The global energy transition is creating incredible opportunities, and we hope we sparked an interest in a future career in clean energy. 🚀
This workshop was part of the 2026 summer camp organised by the Berlin Pankow – Rivne Partnership Association and was supported by the Naturstrom Foundation. Thank you for making it happen!
