drinkforpeace meets BRLO: we´re happy to be on the tap at BRLO Brwhouse. so go get some before its running out 🍻🏃♂️🏃♂️
The only thing that keeps us sane during this ridiculous weather is that great meme going around that says something like “It's like winter is really mad and keeps storming out of the room and then coming back yelling, “And another thing!”
We give up. Whatever. Sun or snow or shine or sleet, we have beer and a beergarden and amazing food and a roof, so… take that, Mother Nature.
Here’s what’s what:
BRLO Beers
BrewDog x BRLO - SOS (May Day) – Maibock
When you get asked to work with the big dogs, you don’t phone that one in. We traveled to Scotland to trade brewing tips and secrets with Brewdog and out of it came this 6.4% dry-hopped wonder. How good is it, you ask? Our friends at Biererei sold out and we had to strap some to a scooter (see photo) and brave Kreuzberg on May Day just to get it to them. You’d better hurry.
BRLO x Run The Jewels – Legend Has It Pils
Another thing we were dangerously close to running out of on launch day, our creation with Grammy-nominated Run the Jewels is quickly becoming everyone’s drink of the summer. The CBD-infusion doesn’t hurt. Wink.

Guest Beers
Tiny Rebel Brewing Co. – In and Around the Mouth (IPA)
They might be Welsh, but they love them some American film. And American hops. And even more American hops. For the beer nerd who wants to *feel* something, look no further.
Brewdog – Punk (IPA)
You’ve seen this everywhere for a reason: It’s one of the standards when it comes to a proper and super-delicious IPA. No more description is needed. Except: yum.
Brewdog – 5am Saint (Amber Ale)
We’ve all got that uncle who wears too many colors, is too loud, too much personality and doesn’t know when to shut up. Imagine him in a bottle, but - you know – delicious, and you have this medley of more hops and malts than you can name sober. Even the most trained palate will be impressed.
Brewdog – Elvis Juice (IPA)
Sadly, it doesn’t taste like peanut butter and Vicodin, but the next best things did go into making this IPA - namely a gorgeous pairing of tart grapefruit peel and caramel. Best served in a blue suede glass, if you can find it.
Brewdog – Kamikaze Knitting Club (Stout)
Why they decided not make a gazillion dollars on turning this into a pancake topping / ice cream / sexual chocolate will always be a mystery. Spicy, smoky and deliciously swarthy. All of this and at 7.5%? Oh my. You givin’ us the vapors, Brewdog!
Brewdog – Dead Pony Club (Session IPA)
While known for making some take-your-face-off-bangers (see above), Brewdog also respects a good afternoon session and so, made you something you can have more than a few of. But by no means does that mean they skimped on the taste. Expect California dreaming from the tip of your tongue to the bottom of your stomach.
Sozialer Hahn – drinkforpeace (Bosnia Herzegovina IPA)
More on Drink for Peace in a few days (as they’re worth their own post), but to bring conflicted zones together all in the name of making beer is just about as wonderful an effort as we could imagine! And don’t think that their big hearts mean a mediocre beer – far from it! Their Bosnia Herzegovina IPA is a perfect pairing for both sunny and cloudy days… which works out nice in Berlin.
And – with every bottle sold, you’re not only helping them, but also you'll also Hawar.help – a wonderful group bringing light to both the beauty, and the struggle, of the Yazidis.

… And there you have it! Lots on tap. Literally.
Two big weeks of collab releases and some big news coming on Thursday as well. Big golden news.
