Apartamento Studios is looking for a freelance Graphic Designer, with a passion for branding and web design, to join our Berlin team. This is a freelance, ideally on-site role, in our Berlin studio. You will work closely with our Design Director.

The preferred starting date is January 5th.

You will be working on a wide range of visual design projects, including identity and packaging assignments, as well as web design.

We are looking for someone who brings energy, a strong eye for detail and solid problem-solving skills. You are able to take direction and respect project briefs, while confidently bringing your own perspective and edge to the work.

You feel comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment, with a calm and considered approach to evolving briefs, multiple projects and tight timelines, while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

At least 4/5 years of experience in a similar role within a professional, deadline-oriented environment

Excellent command of spoken and written English — German and/or Italian is a welcome plus

Ability to think digital, with proven experience in UX design, and strong understanding of front-end development for websites and apps, enabling fluent collaboration with developers

Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

A sophisticated sense of typography and an understanding of its relevance to good design both online and offline

Effective communication skills — from keeping collaborators informed to explaining approaches and giving and receiving feedback

A portfolio demonstrating expertise across a range of platforms

A broad interest in design, interiors and architecture, and a clear enthusiasm for the Apartamento brand

Working closely with the leading Swiss appliances brand we developed the overall visual identity and storytelling for their presence at Milan Design Week 2022.

For the launch of the 2022 collection at Eurocucina, we conceived a new printed publication, with newly commissioned imagery by in order to showcase V-ZUG state-of-the-art appliances with a focus on precision, design, materiality and innovative functionality.

Apartamento is looking for a full time Marketing and Communications Manager to join the Apartamento Publishing team at the Barcelona HQ.
The successful candidate will have at least four years experience in marketing and communication roles, ideally working on brand side. Agency experience is also welcome but not a must.
You will be a crucial contributor to the continued evolution of the Apartamento brand. The role will be instrumental in supporting the management and ex*****on of new and ongoing engagement with Apartamento’s audiences.

presents INCONTRI: an original communication project, stemming from the need to look beyond our own boundaries and learn about new worlds, giving rise to different forms of creativity. The first appointment is with photographer Paolo Roversi () resulting in a series of images that, in turn, depict encounters between models and design objects. Portraits of a woman and a piece of furniture that coexist in space, in an intimacy that has the appearance of a dream.

You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and WordPress plugins. A strong understanding of e-commerce, UX and content management systems is required.
