BSBI Announces Partnership to Incorporate Archery in Leadership Curriculum
Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) announced a new partnership with ‘Bogenakademie’ in Berlin, introducing and implementing archery into their academic leadership curriculum.
Bogenakademie – with locations in Berlin, Bonn, Karlsruhe and Munich – offers nationwide advice, seminars, coaching and process development with intuitive archery. The aim is to support people with a diverse and effective tool, ideal form management and team development.
Intuitive archery is an ideal practice medium for managers and starting this month, archery-based activities will be conducted at BSBI’s campus with a series of workshops. The pilot session takes place on Friday 6 March, hosting 40 students.
Sagi Hartov, Co-founder and Executive Chairman at BSBI, commented: “Archery is an activity that can be beneficial for those wanting to become managers or team leaders.
“Important stages in aiming a shot can be directly compared to the skills that a manager needs to succeed, such as imagination, perception, intuition, goal setting and calmness. This type of sport requires curiosity, courage and the ability to reflect, likewise a leader needs to be able to self-reflect and have the confidence to make decisions.
“At BSBI, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to teach and give our students something that other institutions in Germany are not currently providing. We are confident this innovative approach will add great value to their academic curriculum and help them in their future career.”
The archery curriculum will include Leadership and Me, Initiation and Self-Leadership, Leadership and Team, Leading & Following, Leadership and VUCA and Mindfulness and Resilience. Through these activities, BSBI students will have the opportunity to add incredible value to their business and marketing curriculum.
