Be kind and respectful with yourself and others.
Daylight comes best from the side, sit next to the window.
Natural light is a winner to boost your circadian rhythm
Open the windows to ventilate. Oxygen is necessary
21°C temperature is the ideal to keep you productive
Avoid external noise. Sound cancelling headphones could help
Plants, give a nice touch, add colour and raise the oxygen level in your room.
Are you wearing glasses? Check if they are ideal to work with your computer.
Train yourself to blink a lot to prevent your eye surface from drying out.
Laptop: the distance between the screen and the eye should be approximately 50 cm to 60 cm.
Get up in-between, walk around and move your body: Exercise! Exercise! Exercise!
We're not against sitting on the couch from time to time... but think of the heat from the machine to your legs, or your neck and your back.
Stay organised to get things done and stay safe and healthy!
If remote working from home is not for you, be patient with yourself, and use the opportunity to create a pleasant place where you feel perfectly comfortable.
Create an area that you consciously enter and leave, unless it's a place you use for other purposes, and at the end of work you want to put it back with its original use. This way you don’t condition yourself to feel like you are in a work-mode when you actually want to be in a private one.
Stand up, stretch, and move.
Got it?
