"Artificial intelligence is becoming ubiquitous. (!!) As its reach grows and is engrained into consumer products and services, elements of control and regulation are required. Silicon Valley's biggest companies are joining forces to introduce this.
Facebook, Google (in the form of DeepMind), Microsoft, IBM, and Amazon ...."
"Artificial intelligence is becoming ubiquitous."
Yes, that is no risky statement today, but it rather was 2.5 years ago! Because since then the development of AI was really fast - take e.g. Go-winning algortihms or the spread of chatbots.

So the author team of 2013/14 had quite a good intuition to chose the label "Ubiquituous Intelligence" for one of the 5 key innovation fields of the future study "Connected Reality 2025"!
(I have been researcher and co-autor, so I am proud.)
