Since 2005 - when founded in Vienna as NPO-Akademie - we have been working with NPOs across the German speaking world and have expanded to the German cities Berlin and Cologne and, most recently, also to Zurich, Switzerland. h in Berlin. The NPO-Academy takes an experiential learning approach based on the latest research and sector expertise. The international programme is designed with all NPOs in mind, covering all topics from fundraising to advocacy in the EU to controlling and accounting, but with additional relevant focus areas, including:
- providing best-practice examples to participants and encouraging them to adapt and implement these examples in their own environments
- revealing ways how NPOs can become more international in their outlook and highlighting implementation strategies
- raising awareness among participants about specific characteristics of various different markets
