Language Buró (www.languageburo.com) is a European translation company. We provide professional translation services to companies around the world, translating all kinds of documents, including reports, contracts, manuals, patents and websites; in all major languages, including French, Italian, German and Spanish.
For our office in Berlin, we are looking for a rising talent that will take the challenge of taking care of the project management responsibilities part-time. This will be a challenging and exciting role, requiring constant multi-tasking and the ability to complete all tasks at hand within set deadlines.
This is an ideal position for recent graduates of translation studies that would like to develop a project management career in a modern, high-growth company.
Your day to day activities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day translation projects, serving as the primary contact between vendors and the end client.
- Coordinating and managing delivery of multiple translation projects to clients.
- Taking care of project status, client relationships, and ensuring quality and service meet the customer expectations.
- Identifying strategies, approaches or workflows that can bring continuous improvement.
- Attending meetings to discuss and clarify client requirements, deadlines, and budgets.
- Compiling and presenting reports on cost, quality and translation activities.
- Sourcing and management of translators, and other professionals involved in projects.
- Communicating effectively with all the stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Fluent in English (written and oral, minimum level: C1)
- Part time availability, work from our office near U7 Hermannplatz, Berlin
- Independent contractor
- Desired commitment for 1 year
- Graduate of careers related to translation studies. However, if you don't have a degree or are a student nearing graduation, we would love to hear from you.
- Comfortable working with online software, including Google Sheets, Slack and GMail.
- Experience with CAT tools preferred
- Very organized and self-disciplined
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Professionalism and a desire to grow and advance a career in PM
- Positive mindset, coachable, and resilient
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven communication, organizational and time management skills.
