Design Sprint Academy

Design Sprint Academy We help product, innovation, and design teams turn complex challenges into clear, aligned decisions.

Our structured workshop systems are built on one principle:
If you want better decisions, you have to design how people think together. We’re the AI Facilitation Company helping organizations close the AI ambition-to-execution gap. We’ve developed a system for how teams think, decide, and deliver outcomes in the AI era — replacing long strategy decks and endless meetings with fast, structured coll

aboration and tangible progress. Trusted by global brands across 17+ countries, we help leaders turn uncertainty into clarity, align on what matters, and move from “let’s try” to “we’re doing” with speed and purpose

If you’re responsible for turning AI into real operational change join us today, at 5 PM CET for: Redesign — from “what to do” to “how to do it.”

During the webinar, John Vetan & Dana Vetan will cover:

➡ Why AI requires workflow redesign — not layering on top
➡ Why individual adoption doesn’t scale
➡ Where large consulting approaches fall short
➡ How the AI Workflow Sprint creates a repeatable path from workflow → AI Agent MVP → decision

🚫 This is not a tools session.
🚫 We won’t teach you how to build an AI workflow.

✅ This is about organizational change and decision-making.
✅ We’ll show you how to decide what’s worth building.

So, if that resonates - save your seat here:

There's a pattern we see in almost every organisation that has run AI pilots. The tools work. The individual results are real. And then someone says: we should scale this. That's where it gets complicated. Scaling individual AI use and redesigning an organisational workflow are two completely differ...

Some facilitators run good sessions. Others consistently produce results you can act on.

Most people searching for an right now don't know they're looking for the second one. The category is too crowded, too loosely defined, too dependent on self-description. And when everyone uses the same title, the title stops telling you anything.

What actually differentiates them — beneath the skills, beneath the energy, beneath the method certifications — is whether the facilitator can name, in advance, the specific artifact your team will walk away with. And whether that artifact gives the people who weren't in the room something concrete enough to act on.

That's the bar. And most AI Facilitators haven't been held to it yet.

We wrote the full breakdown here — what to look for, what questions to ask, and the four methods a capable AI Facilitator should be able to run.

For years, Design Sprint Masters helped teams answer one question: “Should we build this product?”

But AI is changing the question.
Today, most organizations aren’t trying to launch new products with AI.

They’re trying to make their existing workflows faster, simpler, and less painful.

- Reduce bottlenecks.
- Eliminate redundant work.
- Automate the boring stuff.

That’s where AI delivers the most immediate value.
And it requires a slightly different approach.

Instead of starting with a product idea, teams start with a workflow.

👉Where does work get stuck?
👉Where do people repeat the same task 100 times a week?
👉Where are decisions slow because information is fragmented?

From there, AI becomes a way to remove friction from the system.

This is the thinking behind the hashtag .

You can think of it as the evolution of the Design Sprint for the age of AI:

Design Sprint → validate product ideas
AI Workflow Sprint → improve how work actually happens

Same principle.

Bring the right people together.
Map the reality of the work.
Prototype solutions quickly.
Test before investing heavily.

If you’re exploring how AI can improve internal operations, this is a good place to start.

We wrote a full breakdown here:

A practical method for leaders responsible for making AI work inside large organizations.

This one is for the women who are already in the AI strategy room — and the ones who should be.

AI is being shaped right now. The workflows, the roles, the decisions about what humans own and what machines own. That work is happening in workshops, in strategy sessions, in facilitated sprints.

The facilitators running those sessions have enormous influence over how it turns out.

We want more women in that role.

So for International Women's Day, we're offering a Women's Day ticket to the AI Facilitator Training in Berlin — with 35% off. The biggest discount we've ever offered.

Use code SHEAI at checkout.

The training runs March 25–27 in Berlin. Three days. Eight participants.
You leave with two complete facilitation toolkits — AI Problem Framing and AI Workflow Sprint — ready to run with your own teams or clients.

If you've been thinking about it, this is the moment.

AI won't transform your organization.
The people guiding AI decisions will.

Most companies have the tools. The licenses. The pilots.

What they don't have is someone who can walk into a room full of competing agendas — CEO, IT, Product — and come out with a decision everyone will actually act on.

That's the AI Facilitator. The most important role most organizations haven't hired yet.

We built a 3-day training for the facilitators and consultants who are already being pulled into these rooms — and want a system instead of an improvised approach.

Most AI workshops end where the real work begins.
You leave with a canvas. A scorecard. A prioritization framework.
And then... nothing ships.

Not because the team wasn't aligned.
Because alignment was the whole deliverable.

Here's what's actually missing:

The redesign.

🔹 Not "which workflow should we fix with AI?" — but fixing it.
🔹 Not just fixing it — rebuilding it from scratch with AI baked in.
🔹 Not just rebuilding it — making it scalable and proving the ROI.

That's the gap we're closing at DSA.
The "AI Workflow Sprint" is coming.

Details dropping soon.

If your organization has 100+ "AI ideas" but no clear path to production, you’re likely headed for a "Frankenstein" product: a solution that doesn't solve a real problem, can’t access the right data, or gets shut down by Legal at the last second.

In this talk from the AI Meetup in Amsterdam, John Vetan (CEO of Design Sprint Academy) reveals how to cut through the noise using the AI Problem Framing Canvas. This is the exact operating model used by global organizations to triage ideas and ensure they are building for ROI, not just for the hype.

Most organizations are in the same loop.

Leadership: “Do something with AI—fast.”
Teams answer with dozens of ideas. The backlog doubles overnight.

It feels like momentum.

It’s not. A pile of ideas can look like progress while it quietly wrecks judgment.

Six months later you’ve shipped pilots that stall, and you’ve burned time and budget on the wrong bets.

The danger isn’t moving slowly. It’s sprinting in the wrong direction.

The helps you pause, sort, and compare ideas with one set of criteria so you can answer one question: what should we build first?
