World Administrators Alliance

World Administrators Alliance The World Administrators Summit, first held in 1992 is a global meeting, brings together the leaders of associations and thought leaders.

The World Administrators Alliance is a non-profit trade association, representing Administrative Professional Associations, Networks, and Industry stakeholders across the globe. Our aims are to guide, influence, develop and elevate the administrative profession and to build a global community to enable administrative professionals the world over to speak with one voice. Now held every two years, i

t brings together the best and brightest minds in the profession today. The delegates from each country discuss topics of importance to all administrative professionals and develop credible outcomes that are shared around the world, including the groundbreaking Global Skills Matrix, launched in September 2021. First held in 1992, with the United States of America as host, has been held every two to four years in 8 countries. The 10th WA-Summit, in 2018 was held in Frankfurt Germany. The 11th WA-Summit in 2020 and the 12th WA-Summit in 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were virtual. The 13th WA-Summit in 2024 will be held in New Zealand, once again in person. In 2006, The Australian Institute of Office Professionals (AIOP) recommended to the Delegates present, and they agreed, that our new World Action Plan be called Administra to honour all Administrative Professionals. The outcomes from each Summit contribute to Administra. The World Administrators Alliance (WA-A) is the governing body approved by the 2020 delegation.

Stronger Together: The Power of Belonging

As EAs and PAs, we know that teamwork is the backbone of success. It’s how we keep things moving, create impact, and support our leaders daily. But beyond the workplace, there’s something even more powerful—belonging.

Being part of an association or professional network connects you to like-minded individuals who understand your journey, your challenges, and your potential. It’s where shared experiences become learning opportunities, and where support turns into empowerment.

In these spaces, we don’t compete—we lift each other. We recognise strengths, share knowledge, and guide one another forward. Because true leadership is not about control. It’s about creating space for others to rise, contribute, and shine. When individuals come together with a shared purpose, the collective strength is extraordinary. When you value every unique capability within a group, your impact multiplies.

So why stand alone when you can belong?

The World Administrators Alliance is one such global platform—connecting professionals across borders, building capability, and helping assistants rise above the rest.

Because together, we are not just stronger— We are unstoppable.

🌈 June is a month of reflection, recognition, and celebration of diversity and inclusion across our WA-Alliance global community.

As part of our D&I calendar, we recognise:
✨ Pride Month – celebrating love, identity, and equality for the LGBTQ+ community
🌍 Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month (UK) – honouring rich history, culture, and contributions
🇬🇧 Windrush Day (22 June) – recognising the legacy and impact of the Windrush generation

Together, these moments remind us to embrace diversity, promote inclusion, and celebrate the unique stories that shape our world.
