2024 through 2025, we worked with an Esports team! And not just any team. We were working with champions and one of the biggest teams in Europe and in the World - MKOI, formerly known as Mad Lions, OverActive Media

We helped coaches develop their leadership and team coaching skills, overcome challenges both inside and outside the game, enhance collaboration, and win big! And we got to hang out with some pretty incredible young people, learned about esports, started to understand the complexities of League of Legends, and got to shout loud and hold our breath during some incredible competitions.

It may sound crazy, but reflecting back, I think we may have reversed our ageing for a few years :)

Thank you, Martina

"What stood out most was their deep understanding of leadership principles and their unique ability to seamlessly bridge those concepts into the highly competitive world of esports."

We wanted to share another client experience and the results that are possible with leadership development and 1:2:1 coaching.

The MKOI League of Legends team went on to win the European Spring Split and qualify for Worlds in China last year.

We recorded this one in the car because it's quite hot outside here in the UAE. Grateful we have climate control.

New Episode Alert!

Breaking old habits can be challenging, but you know it is possoble to create new ways of working and break free from your old traps.

In our latest podcast episode, Mira & I explore how to create new habits for leaders, the psycology of what happens when we get sick of our old ways of working and what happens when you come out the other end, where new habits are formed (and the old habits don't make sense anymore) and how to stay on track so you don't back back to square one.

For something to change, you either have to get really sick of doing the same thing and not moving forward, or one day you wake up and doing the same thing you have done for years suddenly doesn’t make sense anymore; that’s when you have a clarity moment. The latter happened to me with smoking many years ago, after starting and stopping, getting deeply frustrated, and then one day, this habit didn’t feel right anymore. Still, there was no judgment, no health reasons to quit, no pressure to stop, just a deep knowing I am done with it, but with no judgment attached to the feeling.
Although forming new habits can take time and often involves setbacks, embracing these moments as opportunities for learning can lead to real lasting change.
In our latest podcast episode, we explore the busyness trap again, building on our previous discussion. We talk about the uncomfortable reality of changing our behaviour and the challenges of unlearning deeply ingrained habits, especially for leaders and teams striving for greater impact.
