Mit viel Gespür und dem Sinn für die richtige Zeit setzt unser Weingut auf den behutsamen Anbau individueller Spitzengewächse. Tradition und innovativer Wandel sind für uns wichtige Werte, die wir täglich in die Entwicklung unserer Arbeit einfließen lassen. Daher widmen wir der Pflege des Bodens und der Reben große Aufmerksamkeit und achten bewusst auf niedrige Hektarerträge. Bei der Lese entscheiden wir nach physiologischer Reife und nicht nach Mostgewicht. Darin liegt die Qualität unserer Weine, denn nur die physiologische Reife garantiert die voll ausgereiften Aromen.

Water pushing through the walls in our doctor cellar. In such depth there is even now as much water as vines need. Only old vines „Alte Reben“ will reach this level, some going down to 30 meters.

Old vintages maturing in best conditions in our 400+ years old Doctor Cellar at low temperatures (8-10 celsius) and moist air (so cork does not dry out and start to crumble). Next to you will mostly find world renowed and . Some bottles dating back to 1921.
