Wow! 🎉

Tuesday night we took part in the Best of Consulting Awards Ceremony hosted by WirtschaftsWoche.

We are extremely happy and proud to have been recognised for a third time in a row in our third participation.

What is more, we won the 1st prize out of all mid-cap consultancies in Germany in the category marketing / sales. 📈

More on our winning project will follow in the next edition of Wirtschaftswoche (available as from tomorrow, the 2nd of December) and soon here on LinkedIn.

Thanks to everyone involved and of course a big thank you to our client for the trust and excellent collaboration.

That is why last week a couple of our consultants went to Frankfurt to further develop their competencies in change implementation.

If you want to empower organisations and people to continuously improve, you have to work on yourself as well. 💪

Being close to young and fresh minds is crucial for us for many reasons:

- it provides us with direct insights from an important customer segment of our clients

- it allows us to identify those talents for whom we are the perfect employer

- and it helps us gauge how future clients of ours see our value proposition of .

Yesterday we were able to meet many bright students from the of Essen and present our philosophy and strategy to them.

We are happy to announce that the wonderful Shannon Mortimer has joined us. 👏

Shannon is half German, half Irish. ☘️ She possesses impressive French skills and an excellent degree in International Business & Management.

Prior to joining us she also worked at Lidl, RWE and Miele. 🏢

Shannon's example shows again that working for us as a student pays off, as she already supported us as an intern a couple of years ago.

What's best about Shannon however, is that she is a truly nice and fun person. 😀

Glad to have you on board, Shannon. Keep on rockin'! 🚀

Best of Consulting 2021 🏆

There is time for celebration and there is time for analysis.

Our awarded project was a strategic growth initiative in the automotive industry.

The challenge 🎯
An automotive brand contacted us with an ambitious target: they wanted to increase their share in a Western European market by 40% within 2 years.

The competitive landscape 🗺️
The market was saturated. Electrification was only beginning to gain traction. Differentiation possibilities for the brand in terms of product portfolio or pricing were limited.

Our approach 📝
We thoroughly analysed potential strategic levers for the brand to gain market share. We prioritised these levers and defined growth accelerators. What was new for our client was, that we did not (only) define directly beneficial measures, but also some very long-term actions with an indirect effect on sales performance.
When the COVID-19 crisis started, we did not stop any measures, but adapted every action to make it executable in any Corona-related setting and focused every sub-project on potential competitive gains in the current environment. Needless to say that innovative digital solutions played a crucial part.

A winning factor 🌟
Our client! The responsible managers followed our long-term, hands-on and optimistic approach and did not get nervous along the way due to potentially slow improvements or roadblocks. At least not too nervous. 😉

The result 📈
Our client was able to register a record year 2019 and outperform the market by 35% in terms of sales evolution in the Corona-struck year 2020. The overall target of improving the market share by 40% was reached and the market was named as the brand’s best worldwide market in terms of innovation.
