🌱 Strengthening Palestinian Agricultural Capacities through International Knowledge Exchange 🇵🇸🇩🇪

WEE Pros GmbH is pleased to have organized and facilitated the Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Innovation Study Tour, held in Bonn, Germany, from 12–16 October 2026, under the GIZ project Strengthening of Sustainable Livelihoods in Rural Areas III (LHP III).

The five-day programme brought together representatives of the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture and leading German institutions to exchange knowledge and practical experiences in agricultural advisory services, climate-smart agriculture, cooperative development, rural business resilience, research, and innovation.

Through institutional meetings and field visits, participants explored innovative approaches and opportunities for adapting German experiences to the Palestinian agricultural context, with the aim of strengthening advisory services and supporting sustainable rural livelihoods.

👏 Our sincere appreciation goes to GIZ, the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture, and all participating German institutions for their valuable contributions and cooperation in making this exchange possible.

As part of the GIZ A-FIN II (Alternative Approaches to Financial Inclusion of SMEs in Palestine II) programme, WEE Pros GmbH is proud to support the implementation of the Sustainable Finance Academy, aimed at strengthening the capacities of Palestinian financial regulators and advancing the sustainable finance ecosystem.

A key milestone was the successful delivery of a specialized training at the Palestine Monetary Authority - سلطة النقد الفلسطينية on developing the FinTech ecosystem and fostering innovation. The training brought together representatives from banks, payment service providers, microfinance institutions, members of the FinTech Taskforce, and innovation ecosystem stakeholders to exchange knowledge and explore international best practices in supporting financial innovation.

This activity contributes to the Academy's broader objective of equipping financial regulators and ecosystem partners with the knowledge, tools, and collaborative approaches needed to promote sustainable finance, responsible innovation, financial inclusion, and resilient MSME development in Palestine.

The Palestinian Water Authority (PWA) organized a specialized workshop to discuss the final report on the development of an integrated training and capacity-building system for the water sector. The workshop brought together key partners and water service providers as part of ongoing efforts to establish a sustainable training framework that strengthens institutional capacities and enhances the quality of services provided to citizens.
During the workshop, participants reviewed the findings and recommendations of the final study prepared by WEE Pros GmbH in partnership with the International Office of Water. The study assessed the current status of institutional capacities, identified key challenges facing the water sector, and analyzed future training and capacity development needs.
The initiative represents an important step toward building a skilled and resilient workforce capable of supporting the sustainable development of the Palestinian water sector and improving service delivery across the country.

At WEE Pros, we believe that sustainable water services start with strong human capacity.

We’re supporting the “Water Skills” initiative led by the DWA, taking place during IFAT 2026 (4–7 May 2026) as part of World Water Skills 2026.
