In der Woche vom 20. Oktober findet die zweite Ausgabe der von La Place de Bordeaux angebotenen deutschen Rieslinge statt.
Im Wesentlichen waren alle Weine, die letztes Jahr auf den Markt kamen, fast sofort ausverkauft.
Wir freuen uns, zusammen mit den Weingütern Domäne Serrig, Schloss Johannisberg, Dr. Loosen, Battenfeld Spanier und Robert Weil wieder mit drei Weinen dabei zu sein.

The second edition of the German Rieslings offered by La Place de Bordeaux will take place during the week of October 20th.
Essentially all of the wines released this time last year sold out almost immediately.
We are delighted to be participating again with three wines, together with the wineries Domäne Serrig, Schloss Johannisberg, Dr. Loosen, Battenfeld Spanier, and Robert Weil.

✨ Walking through our Dhroner Grosser Hengelberg today, checking the harvest conditions. The vineyard shows some noble rot (Botrytis) and beautiful ripeness 🍇 — a sign of something truly special in the making.

In the coming weeks, we’ll begin harvesting for Spätlese/Auslese, where the balance of sugar, acidity, and character comes together in the glass. A moment we’ve been patiently waiting for all season. 🌿🍷

👨‍🌾 Our beloved Piesporter Treppchen Hillside is getting a fresh start. After a tough battle with the pesky “Reblaus” (phylloxera) that really put our vines to the test, we're rolling up our sleeves and replanting the entire hillside. 👩🏽‍🌾

Because of the steep terrain, every vine is being tilled and planted by hand—a true labor of love that’s as rewarding as it is challenging. Each carefully planted vine represents a new chapter for our vineyard, and we can’t wait to see this hillside thrive again.
