We picked the last apples for our cider and kicked off the final press — and just like that, the harvest season is officially done! 🍇
It’s always a mix of tired smiles, sticky hands, and that amazing feeling of seeing all the hard work come together 💚

Now it’s time for some cozy cellar days and waiting (impatiently 😅) to see what the new vintage will bring. 🥂

Spring has well and truly sprung this last week here in the Nahe valley. Flowers are absolutely everywhere (very distracting when we are trying to work and I keep yelling at Jarek to stop and have a look at a new flower I found 😂) but the buds are swelling and woolly, nearly ready to peek their first leaves for the year, the 'Daisy III' is riddled and ready for disgorging after a patient 3 years in bottle on the yeast lees and the Chardonnay is nearly completely fenced (the wild boar and deer have been treating the vineyard as a personal buffet). Another busy and beautiful week, can't wait for the next 😍🌱

Well, we're back! Even if absent from Instagram we have hardly left the vineyards. It was a challenging year last year and sadly we produced nothing except for some cider (not at all sad about that!) however we were extremely productive 😁 Designed new cider labels, bought a Chardonnay vineyard, took some great photos of Jarek, and my hand, got some more apple trees, and of course all of the usual fun in the vineyards! Most importantly, our optimism is still intact! We can't wait to see what comes from this year and Spring is getting us all alive with anticipation for the first buds to come...

'Nature can be hard sometimes. Last night we watched as the temperatures dropped to -2/-3°C around the Nahe and desimated almost 100% of the young buds in the vineyards here. It's heartbreaking to see all the lively greenery turn a deathly grey overnight and be powerless to change anything. At the same time inspiring to see the resilience, positivity and comradery it brings out in people. We are always excited to see what comes of a vintage, and this one will be no different, only said with a sigh.'

'A Spring day in Klamm today as we spend the morning cutting any greenery that has ventured too high, providing some lovely green compost, along with repairing and renewing what has been left to lie by the previous caretakers! Fingers crossed no frost comes on Monday 🤞 these little shoots are looking incredible already 😁😎'

One Man's p**p is another Man's treasure. Some Neighbourly love from the local horses has made a mountain of gold for our vineyards! Yea it can be sh*tty work but it's well worth it for healthy and happy humus and it feels great to make use of local materials 😁 thank you .shfr
