Over the years, people have disputed the importance of cleaning wind turbine blades. Many wind park owners see no need to clean their turbines because they see no economic value.
It is very important that the WTG is always kept clean for the following reasons;
When dirt is allowed to accumulate on the blade, it distorts the aerodynamic shape of the the blade which affects performance, reducing production output.
