The other day, I was catching up with an old friend from college.
Somewhere between talking about work, life, and everything in between, the conversation turned to money.
"I don't understand where my salary goes," she said. "Every month it comes in, and by the end of the month, there's barely anything left. Rent, groceries, insurance, subscriptions, unexpected expenses... it all just disappears."
And honestly?
She's not alone.
We have all been there.

In Germany, many people earn decent salaries, yet still feel like they're running on a financial treadmill. The paycheck arrives, bills get paid, life happens, and suddenly it's time for the next salary again.
The issue isn't always how much you earn.
It's often that nobody ever taught us how to give our money a job before it arrives.
A simple budget isn't about restricting your lifestyle. It's about understanding where your money is going, identifying small leaks before they become big problems, and making conscious decisions instead of wondering where everything went.
What's surprising is that even small adjustments can have a significant impact over time:
✅ Avoiding unnecessary fees
✅ Building an emergency fund gradually
✅ Identify what costs could be reduced
✅ Planning for future goals instead of reacting to future problems
A 20-minute review today can easily save hundreds of euros over the next few years.
--------
The real cost is delaying financial awareness for another year because "I'll look into it later."
Most people think they need to earn more to improve their finances.
Often, they simply need a clearer plan.
