As we approach our 10th anniversary on June 10, 2026, we continue to celebrate the people, projects, and partnerships that have shaped our journey in patient engagement and access.

Each month, we’re counting down and featuring one inspiring project that reflects our mission and values.

This month’s story highlights the growing importance of European Patient Advocacy, showcasing how collaboration across borders can strengthen patient voices and accelerate meaningful change.

A compelling example is the European Myasthenia Gravis Summit (EUMGS), an initiative driven by EuMGA, to bring together local MG patient advocacy groups from across Europe to learn from one another, align on shared priorities, and become stronger together.

Join us on this journey as we look back at some of the most important moments that shaped us.

Raising the Voice of NTM-PD Patients – ENPADE Survey Findings Published

We are proud to share that the results of the European NTM Pulmonary Disease Patient Disease Experience Survey (ENPADE) have now been published in BMC Pulmonary Medicine: Read the paper. A summary report is also available: www.ntmpatientsurvey.eu.

Living with non-tuberculous mycobacteria pulmonary disease (NTM-PD) presents many challenges and the burden of disease is substantial. Until now, patient experience data on NTM-PD has been limited.

The ENPADE survey, conducted across eight European countries, gathered input from 543 NTM-PD patients and provided valuable patient insights into:
✔ How NTM-PD affects patients’ daily lives and activities
✔ The burden of disease and unmet needs
✔ Barriers to accessing medical care and gaps in healthcare

We find it most important that the voices of patients are heard and recognized in decision-making processes, ensuring that healthcare advances in a way that matters most to patients.

Our sincere thanks to all participants for their time and willingness to share their experiences.
