On 19–20 June 2025, NR Sports Volunteering Solutions participated in the UVMIS Curriculum Development Meeting in Paris, hosted by one of the project partners Fédération Nationale Profession Sport & Loisirs

As part of the + project, the meeting focused on joint development of the curriculum, including the design of specific modules, guides, and tools aimed at improving the quality and recognition of volunteer management in sport.

The curriculum is intended for individuals who are already active or have previously been involved in volunteer coordination in sport settings.

Project UVMIS(Upskiling Volunteer Managers In Sport)

🏅 Key Deliverables:
1. State of the Art Report: A comprehensive study on the current landscape of sports volunteer management and education in Europe, translated into multiple languages:
🇩🇪🇳🇱🇫🇷🇮🇹🇱🇹
2. Higher Education Curricula: Modular training tailored for experienced sports volunteer managers (15 ECTS per module) covering individual, organizational, and societal perspectives
3. Practical Guides: Including a European Code of Ethics, guides on inclusion, solidarity, and volunteer well-being.
4. Pilot Trainings: Real-world testing of curricula and materials with 180 participants across Europe.
5. Policy Brief and Sustainability Plan: Supporting professional recognition of sports volunteer managers.
