⭐⭐⭐Kick-off Event 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣⭐⭐⭐

In January, we kicked off the new year by hosting an event for our team members in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal! This year, we came together to spend some time in the sun outside of our Cologne base. ☀️

We participated in a variety of workshops and team activities designed towards enhancing our expertise as well as building a buzzing team spirit. Communication is the key to enhancing remote team collaboration and client relationships. Since we mainly work together remotely, this topic is vital to our work processes, therefore several workshops during this event focused on honing our communication skills. 🤝🚀

🐑🐑 Be more like a sheep!

On this note, we virtually travelled to the beautiful hills of Scotland to visit the naughty sheep. Here, we learned about diversity, inclusion, management and communication from a flock of sheep. You’ve heard that right! In Scotland we were taught about different behaviours of sheep in a group. The unique characteristics of each sheep within the group were surprisingly suitable to be applied to a work environment, inspiring effective, compassionate leadership and happy teams! ❤️🌻

🌳🌳🌳 Planting 1,600 trees in Africa 🌳🌳🌳

Every year during the holiday season, we take a moment to reflect on the journey that we shared within the team during the past 12 months. Usually, we’d send out gift baskets to say thank you for hard work, genius minds and happy moments.

In December 2023, instead of a traditional gift, we’ve decided to contribute to the well-being of our planet and create a lasting impact. In our honor of our team, we’ve planted trees as a symbol of growth, resilience, and shared commitment to a sustainable future. 📈🌱

💡 Why have we decided to do this? 💡

As a company we’re aware of our social responsibility. Instead of giving away another basket full of Christmas treats, our intention is to give something more meaningful - more meaningful for the bigger picture and the world we live in. 🌍

6H has planted 1,600 Trees in Tanzania, offsetting 240 tons of CO2. Everyone at 6H had the chance to plant their own 50 trees and happily did so. We have only received positive feedback and are thrilled to see the 6H forest grow.

✨ There’s always a way to be better and this year our forest in Africa showed once again that it’s worth breaking traditions sometimes. ✨
