I’m in this week!
Apart from being a beautiful city (my photography skills don’t do it any justice) it’s a great, often overlooked, hub for and . It’s a stone throw away from capital cities like and (which also means you have a great selection of airports to choose from) and it’s not far to go into .
I’m having some great conversations about and some of the takesaways are that a lot of and here rely on a hub model where they can be part of a larger community with customers, resources, partners and service providers just around the corner.
However, for many the goal is to spread their net quite widely reach other markets to take advantage of their products. One of the main questions for these companies is, how do we enter those markets?
Very often the answer to that question is !
Why?
- Partners whom call the market you are trying to get into their home market, have established local presence and can be at your customer’s offices in no time.
- If you partner with companies that have already made a name for themselves, you get to benefit from that by being associated with their brand.
- In markets where there is a need to speak the local language, choosing the right local partner who can position your business in their language can be quite a door opener.
- Added Bonus: They probably know the best restaurants in town! (I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of a foodie)
So if you are in the process of conquering new geographical markets and you haven’t thought of, or are just about to get started with, partnerships, feel free to reach out to learn a bit more.
I founded Partner Trybe with the goal of connecting organisations to thrive together, creating the best value for their customers by teaming up. We help companies grow through building sustainable partnership ecosystem.
Happy to meet at WebSummit LLC in if you are there.
