🇪🇺 Exciting News for Aspiring Professionals! 🌍 Starting November 2023, the EU Blue Card is getting a major makeover in Germany. Here's what you need to know:
📈 Lower Salary Thresholds: Good news! The salary requirements for the EU Blue Card are dropping significantly. For 'bottleneck professions' and newcomers to the job market, it's as low as 45.3% of the annual pension insurance assessment ceiling (€39,682.80 in 2023). For other occupations, it's just 50% (around €43,800 in 2023).
🌍 Wider Eligibility: The doors are opening wider for newcomers. Graduates who've completed their university degrees within the last three years can now qualify for an EU Blue Card in Germany if their job meets the minimum salary criteria.
💻 IT Specialists: Even if you don't have a university degree, but you have at least three years of relevant professional experience, IT specialists can get an EU Blue Card in bottleneck professions.
📋 Expanded List of Bottleneck Professions: The list of 'bottleneck professions' has been expanded to include managers in various industries, veterinarians, dentists, pharmacists, nursing professionals, educators, and more.
🌐 Short-term and Long-term Mobility: EU Blue Card holders from other EU countries can now enjoy short-term and long-term stays in Germany without the hassle of visas or work permits.
👨👩👧👦 Family Reunification: Family reunification is now more straightforward for EU Blue Card holders who've lived in another EU Member State with their loved ones. This means easier entry and residence for family members.
