Here it is! The FN 1922. What a beautiful and historic weapon that you certainly don’t come across very often!
Here is some information:
The original designer was the legendary American gunsmith John Browning. He initially designed the highly successful FN 1910, but in 1922, the newly established Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (which later became Yugoslavia) had a specific problem: they wanted to adopt the FN 1910 for their military, but found the barrel too short and the magazine capacity too small.
Instead of designing an entirely new weapon from scratch, FN (Fabrique Nationale) solved this issue rapidly and ingeniously. They lengthened the grip frame to accommodate a larger magazine that held two extra rounds, and they designed a clever extension cap for the front of the slide to cover a longer barrel. And just like that, the FN 1922 was born.
